Reviews Word on the street for the Nikon 1 V3

In The News From around the web

As previously promised, Nikon released the SDK (software development kit) for the Nikon 1 V3 camera.
The new Nikon “lens only” rebates are now live *UPDATED.
It is not much, but I believe this is the first Nikon 1 V3 price drop since the camera was introduced in March last year: $50 off with a free camera holster at B&H or a free 1 year drops & spills warranty at Adorama.
The new firmware being developed for the Nikon 1 V3 harnesses the characteristics of that camera to achieve silent and compact remote camera control.
Along with the new firmware, Nikon also plans to offer a remote control software development kit (SDK), similar to that available for Nikon digital SLR cameras, in June of this year.
Follow It seems that Nikon USA received a big shipment right after Photokina - even the Nikon 1 V3 camera is now in stock at B&H, Adorama and Amazon (it has been out of stock for months).
Nikon’s mirrorless F-mount adapter will support AF (plus new video mode specs).
